In addition to an Alive e-Show Server, you can publish your e-show to any Web server. When you publish to a non-Alive e-Show Web server, you must provide the links to the e-show yourself.
When you publish to a non-Alive e-Show Web server, you will need to supply the following information:
For example, if the location of your web server is at is Server1, \\Server1\wwwfiles\yourfiles\this e-show\. Where wwwfiles is the folder containing the Web server files; yourfiles is your personal folder and this e-show is the folder into which you want to copy the e-show files.
For example, if you publish your e-show to the previous folder, you would type http://server1/yourfiles/this e-show.
In order to copy your e-show files to the specified Web server, you must have permission to write files on the server. If you do not have permission to copy files to the specified folder or if you receive an error when publishing, contact your system administrator.
If you are running a RealServer, you can use it to stream the media portion of your e-show and support up to 20 simultaneous connections. When publishing to a RealServer, the URL that you type into the URL to the RealServer folder showing the e-show box must contain the pnm:\\ protocol. Then, after publishing your e-show, you must copy the RM files from the folder you specified in the Copy slides to this folder box, to the location you specified in the URL to the RealServer folder showing the e-show box.
